1971 Dodge Monaco Police Car 1:64 - Matchbox

There's nothing special about this car, the normal black and white police car, red siren on the hood, no fancy sport rims, and not to mention the boxy design. But when all these combine together, you get a good old classic police car, which make it special :)

Actually to add a few info, this Dodge Monaco is the same used in "The Blues Brothers" except of different year, theirs is 1978 Monaco, this one is 1974 if not mistaken. If you notice the logo carefully, it is used under license by the California Highway Patrol, or CHP (pronounce CHiPs). Up till now, there has been no diecast within this scale to use the original logo of the iconic 6 pointed star CHP and black & white livery, probably to strict licensing issues. So you might say, this diecast is actually an authentic police car with based on a real police car with a real existing Police Force. - Fadli-
